This Privacy Policy explains how MarketBrug collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information through marketbrug.com, our communications, and our internal Google Ads account management tool.
Information we collect
We may receive information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, company, country, website, industry, meeting preference, and the content of your inquiry. The contact form does not submit information to a MarketBrug server. It prepares an email in your email application, which you can review before sending.
Our website may also receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and activity data through hosting logs or third-party services.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, schedule meetings, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and operate our business. We do not sell personal information.
Google Ads API and Google user data
MarketBrug is developing an internal, non-public tool to view and manage MarketBrug's own authorized Google Ads account. It is not a client-facing advertising platform and is not offered as a MarketBrug service. See the Google Ads Tool Disclosure for its current functionality.
The tool requests the Google Ads OAuth scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords). After an authorized MarketBrug user grants access, the tool may access Google Ads customer and account identifiers; campaign, ad group, ad, keyword, audience, budget, bidding, conversion, recommendation, and performance-reporting data; and account configuration needed to operate and troubleshoot the tool. The tool may use this access to read reporting data and, when enabled and intentionally initiated by an authorized user, create or update Google Ads campaign settings and related resources.
Google user data is used only to provide and improve the tool's disclosed Google Ads account-management functions, maintain security, troubleshoot errors, and comply with law. We do not use Google user data for unrelated advertising, sell it, or transfer it to data brokers or other advertising platforms.
OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in access-controlled systems and retained while the integration is active. Google Ads data may be retained only as reasonably needed for the functions described above, security, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. Access can be revoked through the user's Google Account permissions. An authorized user may also request deletion by emailing admin@marketbrug.com. We will delete the applicable credentials and stored Google user data unless retention is required by law.
MarketBrug's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Service providers and third parties
We may use service providers that host the website, support email and scheduling, or operate business systems. They receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Calendly scheduling links, embedded YouTube content, Google services, and other third-party sites operate under their own privacy policies. Opening or using those services may allow them to collect data or set cookies.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legitimate business and legal requirements.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. You may decline to provide information, avoid third-party embeds, or revoke Google Account access at any time.
Children's privacy
MarketBrug's services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes to how the Google Ads tool uses Google user data will be disclosed before the changed use occurs, and renewed consent will be requested when required.
